Report a problem
These are old programs kept alive by one person in his spare time, and some of them are older than the version of Windows you are running them on. When one of them misbehaves I would genuinely rather hear about it than not — a bug nobody mentions is a bug that stays.
There is no ticket system and no account. It goes in a file on my server, I read it, and if you left an address I write back.
Something not working?
Tell me and I'll actually see it. This goes in a file on my server — no ticket system, no account, and no reply needed unless you want one.
What you type goes in a file on my server and nowhere else. If you leave an address it's only ever used to write back, and it's deleted the moment you ask. Privacy.
Things worth trying first
- Nothing appeared after installing. Most of these replace part of the Windows shell and want a sign out and back in, or a restart, before they take.
- Windows or your antivirus blocked it. None of these are code-signed — a certificate costs more per year than the software has ever earned — so SmartScreen warns about all of them. That warning is about the absence of a certificate, not about anything found in the file.
- It worked and then stopped after a Windows update. That happens, and it is the single most useful thing to report, because it usually means Microsoft moved something. Say which update if you know it.
If you would rather talk it through, the Discord is the quickest way to reach me, and anything with actual code in it is best as an issue on the GitHub repo.
