Drag anything onto it — apps, files, folders, links — and name the tabs whatever makes sense to you. If you want the desktop underneath to disappear entirely, that's Hide Desktop in the settings, and it's the bit most people wish they'd found sooner.
It's free, it always has been, and there's no upsell coming. If it's useful to you, that's the whole point. The source lives on GitHub if you ever want to poke around inside it.
If something's not right
The Discord is the best place to shout — it's quiet, but I read everything. Bugs are better raised as an issue on the relevant repo, where they won't get lost.
