But the parents can see that children can use the same software... on the other hand it means that their software is so easy to use that even kids can handle to use it.

I have notice that MS has been using a lot of kids/kid related stuff to promote their products...
It's not really working... probably because most kids don't have a few hundred bucks to spend on MS software...

But their Parents do. Kids don't buy their $200 game consoles, $500+ computer, $199+ Phones, WOW subscriptions, etc. MS makes money off the Parents of the Kids that want their products.

You mean the adults that think Vista is crap because they installed it on a old Windows 98 Computer?, small
chance they will buy the new ms stuff, they will buy a xp computer and have Office 2003...

Well if the kids want it, the parents will buy it. I know a lot of Parents that know near nothing about technology, and I know parents that will buy ANYTHING the kid ask for.

One of my lame relatives saw me with a new laptop and asked their parent for one. A week later they got a laptop...

Yeah but those parents are usually horrible at disciplining their child.

Anyways lets get back on topic...

Oh ye, those kids are TERRIBLE. For the daughters B-day, my uncle gave her $50, and she threw it to the ground and said she wants a $100...

To make this on topic. This is how MS can make money of Kids.

So MS is like the *Cough* Drug dealer *Cough* for these kids that have money.

I guess you can compare it to that, except these kids have to get their parents to get it for them.

Now that is surprising. The world sure is corrupt... People even sell their kids if they cannot pay off debts.

Let's go back to topic...

I really like the current logos because every product has its own icon now: Office in yellow/orange, VS in blue/purple and not all the Windows colors. I think this gives the products something special, something like they#re more independent.

Logos are extremely important assets to all companies.
