I'd like to witness that ViStart is a great program indeed :
- it does generate search results instantly, much faster than Vista does
- it provides quick ang convenient access to All Programs list
- it is quite fast and very stable
- it is very cute and looks no worse than the original Vista's start menu
Why did I go to Bugs section then ? I would ask for these features (or call them fixes) :
1. Add an option to "freeze" the start menu pinned shortcuts list, so that when user feels he's got the right pinned programs he would go to Vistart options and check "Freeze pinned shortcuts" (or something like that).

2. Presence of Internet browser and Mail program items should be optional (just what if I never use a mailing program ? There are quite a few people who don't use Outlook or Thunderbird)
Also, there are currently 8 pinned items, I think there should be 10, with the option to freeze them and with the optional presence of browser/mail items.
3. Ctrl-Esc shows the start panel, great, but pressing Ctr-Esc again does not hide the start panel. It should !

4. With start panel open, pressing Ctr shows All Programs list, which is very convenient indeed, but sometimes it generates this error:

This error does not pop up every time I press Ctrl, but occasionally it does. To reproduce :
Move your mouse cursor some distance away from the start menu, e.g. upper-right corner of desktop,
Press Ctrl-Esc - the start panel wll open,
Press Ctrl to open All Programs
Do so several times, just use Vistart, sooner or later the error message will pop up.

5. ViStart is very stable and quite fast now, but I have a suggestion to improve speed :
(the image of) the start menu panel could be saved to (video) memory, so next time it is opened it'll be built from the memory buffer.
Is it possible ?

6. Fediafedia has done a perfect 1:1 Russian language translation, big thanks to him, but the right black part of Vistart panel is nt wide enough to hold "Recent Items", "
. ", it looks cluttered, so I changed it to "?? ??".
My suggestion is to make the right part a bit wider, as it used to be in earlier versions.

7. The last but not the least, please make the splash screen (when starting Vistart) optional. The "About" item present in ViStart options is enough.
Thank you very much for the wonderfull add-ons you create, I hope ViStart project will not be discontinued, and as many people I'm looking forward to newer versions.
